I started to watch this but to be honest found it a bit childish in the same way I'd probably find The Goonies now. Can you believe Sean Astin was in that?

Narcos back today with hopefully more of Judy Moncada losely based on Griselda Blanco

The Ozarks on Netflix with Jason Bateman is superb.

Really good series. Very much looking forward to the next too. Yep, it's a heck of a nostalgia ride and movie geeks can spot sooo many references but it's well written and well performed.
Would advise anyone who likes that sort of thing to dive for it.

One of the best things I've seen over the past few years along with Gomorrah and Narcos.

Will be steaming through it again shortly before the second series is released.

For kids, the acting is brilliant.

Yep, seen it. Very good, but then I'm the right age (ie growing up in the 80s)

It's superb. Especially if you were a teenager in the 80s.

Contains plenty of 80s tv/movie cliches (purposefully) and is all the better for it.

I liked it, very well acted form the younger cast members too. Bit of a King/Spielberg feel to it.

Didnt like it much personally. Came across as a bit teeny and "weird for weirds sake".

Is it me or was one of those lads cast because he looks like the wife out of the shining?

Yeah, finally got around to watching it a few weeks back. Enjoyed it. Bit of Goonies meets X-files meets Pan's Labyrinth.

Really looking forward to new series, first series was brilliant. If you were a kid/teen in the early 80's it will appeal to you. Has a whole Goonies, ET and X-Files feel to it.
